The Bavarian Forest National Park

That’s limitless forest wilderness in the first German national park. "Let the nature be nature" is the philosophy, and nowhere between the Atlantic and the Urals can the woods with their swamps, mountain creeks and lakes develop with their very own rules on such a large space to a unique wild forest landscape, a “limitless forest wilderness” indeed.

At best, one starts exploring this unique area at the information center “Haus zur Wildnis” in Ludwigsthal. In the information center itself, sense and background of the national park are impressively illustrated. Especially for children, the information is educationally and, at the same time, excitingly edited.
