Motocross & Enduro

In 1984, the division motocross in the "Automobile and Motorcycle Club Cham" was founded. The centrepiece of this department is the leased motorcycle training ground in Zettisch. This is one of the very few approved, ongoing training and competition routes that exist in Germany. Young motorcycle sport fans can test there the Enduro, Moto Cross and Trial sport In addition to the opportunity to train daily on the premises, also driving courses are held there. The club with its training contributes to road safety. AMC Cham due to the sporting contests, that took place on the terrain from 1984 to 1989, is now known as an organizer of large motoring competitions far beyond the borders of the region. German and International Championships, which were transmitted on television and attracted more than 3000 visitors were carried out during this period. Bit by bit the grounds were expanded. The training and competition conditions were considerably improved, for example, the construction of the "Tower", the showers, lounges and supervision platform. In addition, the site was equipped with electricity and telephone connection. Two park terraces are available for visitors and drivers. Only last year, the "tower" was provided with an asphalt driveway. The club is constantly striving to further improve the facilities of the site and to preserve the terrain for the young, enthusiastic motorcycle riders and possible future possibilities.
