The “Treetop Path” in the Bavarian Forest National Park
Going for a walk in unspoiled nature at a height of 8 to 25 metres above the forest floor and experiencing unique perspectives - this is possible on the treetop path in the Bavarian Forest National Park. The barrier-free construction mainly made of wood has been integrated gently into the fantastic mixed mountain forest, providing an unadulterated natural experience which is further intensified by the various educational stations along the path. The footbridge of 1,300 metres ends on a platform of the impressive observation tower at a height of 44 metres, promising fantastic and almost boundless views. The treetop path ends at ground level at Hans-Eisenmann House with its modern information centre. After the stroll at eye-level with the tree tops, “Waldwirtschaft” forest restaurant with its large beer garden and Café Eisenmann provide for the physical welfare of the visitors.
