Football camp with SSV Jahn Regensburg

“I wish to become a professional footballer one day,” said Jakob overjoyed after winning the final of the final tournament at the football field in Thenried. As part of the Jahn holiday camps, a holiday camp was held there for the first time last week – in cooperation with the Baby & Kinder Bio-Resort ULRICHSHOF. Junior boss Nikolaus Brandl explains: “We have a sponsoring partnership with SSV Jahn Regensburg and are involved in the Jahn Kinderwelt. So it was an obvious idea to offer our guest children a special event where the focus is on having fun with football. The fact that in the end eight children of ULRICHSHOF employees signed up made me even happier!”

With a varied programme, the girls and boys were taught the joy of the most beautiful pastime in the world in a playful way over three days. The SSV Jahn coaching team Stefan and Kevin were in charge of the camp: “From feints to juggling to over-stepping – everything was included, because the extensive training programme is based on the training concept of the Jahnschmiede. On the second day, the Jahn diploma with six exercises was on the agenda and on Wednesday, the final tournament with football festival took place on the club grounds of SV Thenried. Jahni – the mascot of SSV Jahn Regensburg – and the ULRICHSHOF mascot Yolybsi came by for the award ceremony and handed out the certificates, medals and other prizes to the proud young footballers. SSV Jahn professional player Sarpreet Singh also came to the award ceremony and was available for photos and autograph requests.

“We really had a lot of fun over the past three days,” said Nikolaus Brandl. “I would like to thank SV Thenried for allowing us to use the pitch for the training camp and, of course, SSV Jahn for making it such a success. We are already looking forward to organising another joint holiday camp next year.”
